1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to websites, mobile applications, games, digital products, and other online services operated by Trowbridge Street Studios, LLC (“Trowbridge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) that link to it (collectively, the “Services”).

Because our projects may differ, a Service may provide an additional privacy notice describing product-specific practices. That notice supplements this policy. If the two conflict, the product-specific notice controls for that Service.

This policy does not apply to third-party services that we do not control, even if linked from our Services.

Information we do not presently seek

Our current plans do not call for precise GPS location, contact lists, photographs, microphone recordings, camera access, or biometric data. If a future Service needs a new sensitive permission, we will explain it at or before collection and request permission where required.

Information from others

We may receive information from app stores, platform providers, authentication services, payment processors, analytics and advertising providers, anti-fraud services, and other users—for example, when another user reports content or invites you to a multiplayer feature.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services;
  • create and secure accounts, save progress, operate multiplayer features, and display leaderboards;
  • process subscriptions and confirm transactions;
  • provide customer support and respond to requests;
  • send newsletters or marketing messages when you opt in;
  • measure performance, diagnose errors, understand audience use, and develop new features;
  • deliver, measure, and limit the frequency of advertising, including personalized advertising when allowed and consented to;
  • moderate content, enforce rules, prevent fraud or abuse, protect users, and maintain security;
  • comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements; and
  • create aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably linkable to an individual.

Where required, we rely on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests—such as securing, operating, and improving the Services—provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.

4. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to:

  • Service providers that provide hosting, authentication, analytics, email delivery, customer support, moderation, security, payment processing, and similar services under appropriate restrictions.
  • Advertising and measurement partners, including Google, to deliver or measure ads and analytics as described below.
  • Other users and the public when you use multiplayer, leaderboard, or user-content features. Display names, scores, and submitted content may be visible to others as explained in that Service.
  • Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or establish or defend legal claims.
  • Transaction participants in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
  • Others at your direction or with your consent.
We do not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising disclosures may nevertheless be considered “selling,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some privacy laws. Where those laws apply, you may opt out as described below.

5. Analytics, advertising, and cookies

Our Services may use Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google AdMob, and similar technologies. These providers may use cookies, software development kits, app-instance identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, and information about interactions with the Services.

Advertising may be contextual—based on the content being viewed—or personalized using activity, interests, or other permitted signals. We use personalized advertising only where allowed and after obtaining consent when required. Users known to be under 13 will not receive personalized advertising from us.

Our storage categories

  • Necessary: security, authentication, fraud prevention, service operation, and remembering privacy choices.
  • Analytics: understanding how people use the Services and improving reliability and design.
  • Advertising: delivering, measuring, personalizing where permitted, and limiting repeated ads.

You can adjust available categories through Privacy Choices. Your browser, device, app store, and Google settings may provide additional controls. Blocking storage can affect some features.

We recognize legally required opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, where applicable. Product-specific notices may identify additional providers or controls.

6. Children’s privacy

Our Services are intended for a general audience and are not primarily directed to children under 13. We recognize, however, that children may encounter or use some Services.

If a Service permits participation by a child under 13, we will use an age-appropriate experience. Before knowingly collecting personal information from that child, we will obtain verifiable parental consent unless an exception permits limited collection—for example, to support internal operations, protect security, or respond once to a request. We may ask for age information so we can apply the correct protections.

For users we know are under 13, we will not serve personalized ads, use personal information for behavioral advertising, or allow unrestricted public sharing of personal information. We will collect no more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the relevant activity and retain it only as long as needed.

A parent or guardian may contact info@trowbridgestreet.com to review, correct, or delete a child’s personal information; revoke consent; or stop further collection. We may need to verify the requester’s identity and relationship to the child.

If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without required consent, we will delete it or take other steps permitted by law.

7. Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide an account or feature, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Services.

  • Account and gameplay information is generally retained while an account is active and for a limited period afterward to support restoration, safety, and legal obligations.
  • Support communications are generally retained for up to 24 months after resolution unless a longer period is needed.
  • Transaction and tax records may be retained for up to seven years or as required by law.
  • Newsletter information is retained until you unsubscribe; we may retain a minimal suppression record to honor that choice.
  • Event-level analytics is generally configured for no more than 14 months when that control is available.
  • Children’s personal information is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose authorized by the parent or otherwise permitted by law.

Deletion from backups may take additional time. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is completely secure.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, obtain a copy of, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information; withdraw consent; object to certain processing; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; limit certain sensitive-data uses; and appeal a denied request.

You may:

  • manage cookie and advertising choices through Privacy Choices;
  • unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each message;
  • adjust advertising identifiers or permissions in device settings;
  • use in-product account or deletion controls where available; or
  • email info@trowbridgestreet.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.

We will verify requests appropriately and respond within the period required by law. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

California notice

California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing, and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. The categories collected, sources, purposes, retention criteria, and recipients are described throughout this policy. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without the affirmative authorization required by law.

9. International users

We are based in the United States. If you use the Services from another country, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards.

Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland may contact us about access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent, and may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our Services and legal obligations evolve. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes affecting information already collected will be handled as required by applicable law.
